Well here I am in North Carolina in the MOST AMAZING House that Chance and Suzette have here on Hanlon Mountain Just outside Ashville, It has more rooms than ALL the houses I have ever lived in put together!!! and views to die for, I will put some Pix up later, along with Getaway Pt2 if I can.
The adventures so far,
on the way down we stopped at something called "Cracker barrel" for lunch that smelled of spices and was full of strange Bric-a brac, we had a long and tedious (sometimes) journey arriving in Ashville at about 6 pm then
Last Night I had Ribs for dinner!! with some sauce that was slightly sweet, but someonethat knows me must have warned them as they put a towel at my place!! instead of a serviette!!, Honest! I didnt get THAT messy, (Liz, Nowhere neaar as bad as the Ice crem incident) and Chance and Suze had something called Hush Puppies with their meal!! I thought that was a kind of footware, I didnt care for the taste,
We arrived here on the Mountain after dark and had a really good night sleep and Now I am in My wing of Castle Fortunato, complete with private living room and Bathroom with seperate shower and Bath (Jacuzzi) that ia bigger than my bedroom at home!,I will have to take pix of the interior here, Suze tells me that I might see Hummingbirds at the feeder later, and ther was the sound of American Robins and Bluebirds while we were at breakfas, (hoping for pix of them too). I am aware of the Good Fortune am enjoying at having friends all over that invite me to stay and enjoy their homes and I cherish and appreciate their friendship and tolerence.
