Well, yes, you do need permission from each person before posting a video. It may be a pro forma exercise, and a pain in the ass, but once something is posted, it's out there forever, and people may have their own reasons for not wanting their performance out there. The UK chantey group was (were?) the Shellback Singers, and they were indeed great. We don't often get a chance to hear large choral group (other than ad hoc ones) at the Getaway, and the Shellbacks were a real treat.

I gotta get the sound fixed on my 'puter so I can hear Rose and Colin! My memory of the performace is that it was astonishingly beautiful, as was a later one in the retreat center. Their voices blend incredibly. Sure hope they'll come back!
