Thank goodness for Cathy Freeman. If not for her lithe figure, the billions watching the Olympic opening could have gained the impression that the Australian aboriginals are the world's most obese people. The Ethiopians / Sudanese viewers must have thought there was something wrong with their sets. Later I heard that some NBC / CBS bloke commented on TV that the aboriginals don't get a fair go and, although it was a bit generalised, I tend to agree. But if anyone lambasts us for rigging the food scales, well....
