We had our first ever Crayside festival yesterday and with all due modesty it was a cracking success built on lots of goodwill

It was the first such venture for Girl Friday and myself as organisers, put together in the space of three months

It ran from 12.30 until closing time at a large pub with a garden by a river on the outskirts of London
