I was going to work on the keyhole garden, but I discovered a lot of activity from tomato hornworms. Buggers even took a big chunk out of the one decent sized tomato I have out there. I've ignored the tomatoes for a while because there was simply no fruit this summer, but it looks like I'm going to get a small fall crop. I spent time going through and checking the entire garden. The damage was broad spread and mostly cosmetic (the plants are so large that a few leaves gone here and there isn't a problem). Despite my trained eye I didn't spot one worm, so they may all have gone larval by now. But if not, they're nuked, because I sprayed with BT (added some compost tea and veggie wash for good measure).

The laundry is off the line and folded. Ran to the store for items listed on my diet (modestly priced - good thing!) and a steak that my ex brought over yesterday is defrosting. I guess he isn't eating red meat now, these were left from when my son was still here and going back and forth between houses. I'm sure both of our diets have changed now that we don't have a voracious growing teen underfoot. :-D
