I've located a plastic file box that I'll use for the warranties and instruction pamphlets from the kitchen. In that file box I found maps I'd forgotten I had, that could have gone in my donation last year to the library. I may amend that donation with the rest of this material. National Park Service mini folders from parks, maps from travels through various states and visits to recreation areas.

So, this evening, after my walk (to start as soon as I hit "send") and dinner, I'll sort and file those pamphlets. A lot of them will probably go in the recycle bin. I need to make a run over to the recycle depot with a bunch of stuff this week.

It's a week for clearing out and donating. I'll need to lay out and photograph all of the blouses I cleared out last weekend, give them a minimal value, and drop them off at Goodwill, along with some outgrown clothes my son culled from his closet before heading to college.

I priced lumber and cinder blocks this morning. Home Depot has the best prices on the concrete blocks, and I found an interesting laminate board to consider using. It is very long - 20', meant for architectural purposes other than bricks and boards, no doubt, but the layers look good and if it isn't treated I might use it. It was a different color than other plywood, but that might be stain. I'd cut it in four equal pieces and sand it. (I would make the cuts there at the store and bring it home in pieces.)
