I have this song on a 1979 Bay Records recording of Faith Petric.
She says in the liner notes "(by John Connolly and Bill Meek) Learned in true oral tradition from Roger Holdstock and adapted to my own feelings, here's another love song and a most beautiful answer to the "problems of senior sexuality " so much is being written and talked about these days." As I recall, Faith changed the gender of the song from male to female. Roger was (is) a Vancouver BC college nglish teacher and writer, and the brother of Davis CA singer Dick Holdstock.
