I went to the grocery store on my own for the first time in ages, it seems. Then picked up Morgan at school. He was thrilled when I asked him if he'd like to help make cornbread and brownies. Just the simple Jiffy mixes. He cracked the eggs all by himself and nary a shell in either. We had a lot of fun and I taught him that a good cook cleans up as they go along. By the time Rog got home, he could hardly contain his excitement..couldn't wait to eat. Loved it all and had seconds. We also did his homework.

So, accountability included the walk with O2 at the grocery store, about 20 minutes all told and I kept it as brisk as my feet will allow; then a few things around the house. Yesterday's included playing ball with Morgan; that kid can throw!

I will be out and about tomorrow, then early release day for school, so will have Morgan here for a good part of the afternoon/evening...I'll check in at some point.
