Thread Name: Info request: columbia wax roll # 32888
Subject: Origins: columbia wax roll # 32888
Hi Forum members,
Don't know really how to call it - "a wax roll record" ?
On the site of the roll it reads: " columbia 32888 -
"TEACH ME HOW TO WIN A BEAU" (orchestra Bells)
Looks like it is an ancestor of the 78 speed record.
The roll looks rather molded maybe because it has lived in
a cardboard box. Unfortunately I'm certain the box does not
belong to the records as it's cover reads: Edison 13375
"Queen of the earth" by Tom Child. The print on the Edison
box (written in English) tells me it was made in Brussels Belgium.
Anyone interested in either the box or the record?
I would like to exchange it for a Vernon Dalhart record -
