Although I was in favor of a 'special' (temporary, not the main Hearme) room being used when harpgirl first raised the issue of a women's concert, I also agree with her that, if we are to set up one-person concerts in the main room, an all-women concert is but a logical extension. I always assumed that this would be a session to which anybody was allowed to listen but only women would be performing. And, frankly, I'd like to hear more performances from our female Mudcatters (or guests who're willing to perform for that matter).

It seems as if we're talking about planning these for low usage nights, so I guess, with enough lead time and publicity, use of the main room should be acceptable. I suppose if we try it and get complaints that we're interfering with the desires of others to use the room, we can always change the venue.
