On the topic of charity shop finds, a long running internet music blog mystery is the identity of the performer of this song 87 Sundays by someone named Ruth. Pretty much all that is known about it is that it is a previously unreleased song which was on an acetate discovered in a Glasgow charity shop. It appears on Vol.5 of the compilation of 60s female singers called Dream Babes which, coincidentally, also contains a song "Hey Mama You've Been On My Mind" by the Caravelles which was penned by Bruce Murdoch.
