It was a wonderful evening. Tinged with a bit of sadness, to be sure, but wonderful nonetheless.

Yes, the room was packed - like the proverbial tin full of sardines. It seemed that after every two or three songs, there was a scramble to find additional chairs for those who had just arrived. This went on for a major part of the evening. Ultimately, I think that every chair in the building ended up in our room!

A one-time temporary location at South Street has been mentioned for December 17 (IIRC), though a new, permanent venue has yet to be found.

But last night was truly memorable.
