Don't forget the First Red Scare, the KKK, the Bund, the SDS, and similar things. (And let's not forget the WFM, the IWW, and others.)

But it seems to me that while it might be "legal" and "constitutional" as long as the vehicle is on a public road, wouldn't you need a warrant to enter the vehicle to install the unit in the first place?
