Rick, here's what I've found on the net. The sax solo on "Baker Street" was played by Raphael Ravenscroft (see this page => scroll down, down, down...), but they say here that it was Gerry Rafferty himself who played it on the demo tape! Sounds interesting.
I must admit that I've never heard the song... Hope somebody will tell you more.
