Roy is one of my all time favourite artistes. I fell in love with Flat Baroque & Beserk when I was about 15 I was lucky to have seen Roy performing a couple of years earlier at one of the first Hyde Park concerts in 1968 and many times after that. I have always enjoyed his rants in between songs as much as the music itself. I went to his 60th birthday celebration at The Festival Hall and agree that a similar event to mark his 70th is a great idea.
