Wayne Rooney is a father. He is also, for many little boys (some girls too) a 'hero' (not quite sure why, but we won't go there)

He is a father who, far from standing by his wife when she was 'creating' his son, supporting, caring and loving her, 'for better or for worse', took off and had sex with some sleazy hookers, who, surprisesurprise, sold their stories for as much as they could.

He has to live with the shame of that, 12 years or more from now, when his son learns the gruesome details.

Even £200,000 a week won't be able to buy him his son's respect.

Meanwhile, his wife has been to Lourdes, yet again, with her family, in the vain hope of finding a miracle cure for her very sick young sister...and having to cope with the disgrace of her selfish baffoon of a husband.

Rooney has also let people see how disgustingly greedy his is, in times when so many are losing their homes, their livelihoods, their lives. He has revealed himself to be a sickening man, as well as a sick one, imo...and he may be able to kick a ball, but when it comes to scoring goals in the Net of Respectability, he misses, every single time.

I shudder at stories like this. I loathe overpaid footballers. I loathe football managers and Corporate Football Bastards who rule over their fans, seemingly brainwashing their dumbed down brains to part with ever more money from tickets to Club T Shirts made from The Emporer's New Cloth of Gold.

What has happened to football is exactly the same as everything else...It's soul has been sold to the Corporate Devil and nearly all those who work within it are also slaves to The Bastard of Greed.

What 'heroes' some choose for their children these days, eh?
