Cleaned the place this morning, including sweeping out the shed and taking a stack of stuff to the tip. Got the last of Ruth's stuff to Barnardo's.

I have taken farewell pictures of my empty (and very clean) house. Tomorrow morning I stick my head through the door for 5 minutes and read the meters. Then it's off to Selby to drop off the key, and it won't be mine any more.

Hopefully, sometime tomorrow, the money should move across and things start to move along at my end. At the moment I am living in Eleanor's spare room, among a real clutter of stuff and my bags. Freya's in bed, Eleanor's at work till 11pm, her husband's in bed with a stomach bug, and I'm about to go to the pub for the quiz night!
