Could be wrong but don't off hand remember reading there were grades of what mince before.
As said elsewhere, I mostly coincide with veggie parents and mum does most of the cooking, once in a blue moon, minced beef is something I cook for myself.
Not sure of its fat content I just put carrots, peas, onions and anything else that may take my fancy in it with some beef stock and as one might also with a stew or curry love it when the tastes are all mingled the next day.
