During the interview regarding the WikiLeaks controversial release of classified military records, the CNN reporter tried to establish credibility of Julian Assange's leadership by asking him some tough personal questions.
The first of these related to Assange's alleged conflicts with some of his WikiLeaks staff members. Some of the former employees, who got suspended during their tenure at the company, cited Assange's difficult personality in their conversations with CNN. WikiLeaks founder appeared visibly uncomfortable at this line of questioning, but remained in his seat, giving a standard corporate reply that these employees must have complained because they were unhappy about being suspended.
The CNN reporter then proceeded to ask Assange about the sex abuse charges e had faced in Sweden (they were later dropped).
"I'm going to walk if you're going to contaminate this extremely serious interview with questions about my personal life," said remarkably agitated Assange at this point.
When the reporter pushed the issue, he decided to keep his word by briskly getting out of his seat, ripping off the microphone and exiting the interview leaving the reporter and the camera crew immobilized with shock.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMM I thought you believe in full disclosure with nothing kept secret.
