I have just received this circular from the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. What an amazing achievement for a group that used to play in folk clubs! Yes, it is true: the UOGB is finally making its way over the Pond to get to know some of its North American fan base. Apart from the sold-out gig at Carnegie Hall on 2 November, there are currently still some tickets left for the gigs at the Mary D'Angelo Performing Arts Centre in Erie, PA, on 04 November and at the Convocation Hall in Toronto on 06 November! So don't miss your chance to see us!

On our return to England we are really looking forward to a special gig at Cecil Sharp House in Camden on 11 November: "Waly Waly on the Ukulele - Ukulele settings of Cecil Sharp". This will be an evening of UOGB arrangements of songs collected by Cecil Sharp. The concert celebrates the end of Sharp's 150th birthday year - so all new stuff, never heard before and not to be missed.
