Thanks Curly - I only like the pinbridge ones. Yours will probably also have the bolt-on neck too and although I'd be keen to try out a bolt-on neck one with a pinbridge I think that combination is very very rare and more likely if found would be 70s. You can date the guitar quite accurately from the Bjarton data (you probably already know that Bjarton actually made the Hagstrom acoustic guitars) now hosted here: -

The machine heads on the bolt-on necks (and every tailpiece one I have seen) are pretty mundane, like the Kent series Hagstrom/Futurama electric guitars (but 3+3 not 6+0). The machine heads that are very rare and worthwhile on their own are the Kolbs with the figured covers ("German Silver" on the set-neck Hag J45s, gold plated with different buttons on some Guilds).

The machine heads on some Swedes and the Jimmys were however quite fancy (and also shared with some Guilds) - but nothing to do with acoustic guitars as such.
