I went through a full body scanner last month at Boston Logan. First off I really don't care what they see (the scanners at Logan only show an outline of your body just to make sure you don't have any un-natural bulges; the Boston Globe did a huge report on them when they were installed and actually showed the images that the screeners see) and second, it's just part of the deal of flying nowadays.

The TSA reps described above by OD were definitely acting inappropriately and that behaviour should have been respectfully called out. A supervisor should have been alerted and their behaviour reported.

I fly a lot and the difference in TSA attitude between 9 years ago and now is night and day. In the last few years my encounters with TSA have been respectful and pleasant, with one exception which I won't go into now (too long a story).

I'm sorry your scissors got taken away, Jacqui.
