I've really enjoyed hearing Rosie Stewart sing 'Star o the Bar', and it made me want to discover a bit more about the man who wrote the song. So I was delighted to (belatedly) discover Davie's 2003 Greentrax CD on sale at the excellent Coda music shop on the Mound in Edinburgh the other day; it may not have gone platinum, but this CD is solid gold.

I think I once found a lovely song of his somewhere about the Union Canal, but I can't find it again now. I'd like to hear it if indeed it is one of Davie's songs.
