Emily, hubby, baby, and dog arrive Monday. She is a strong woman who already reminds me of my son's wife, who I like VERY much. A very young, new mom totally in the best tradition of matriarchs.

Faulkner has hosted foster dogs before but not a male-- so his training on THAT is underway. (They'll meet on leashes.)

By the time they arrive, email will have handled most of their wants and all of their needs, just like it has worked for traveling Mudcatters on the way here. Bandmate Ed agreed to help with transition/orientation to take the load off Hardi, who may arrive home after Emily does-- and who does not need to do MY job (landlady) while I am gone next week.

Gee, "I love it when a plan comes together." One more trip up those stairs tomorrow-- and their space is "ready enough" even on the really short notice involved.
