I would *REALLY* like to encourage you to approach this project in a way other than the traditional, stereotypically heterosexist approach: boys and girls. (getting "the two sides" to mix.) There are many people who attend weddings who do not view the world that way. There are other people who attend weddings without an opposite gender partner. Unfortunately, I can't offer many suggestions. I would just find a caller and have a contradance/barn dance with couples comprised of whomever wants to dance.
