I miss the smell fo Autumn. My keen sense of smell was virtually destroyed. I do remember how a curious scent of apples seemed to pervade the Autumn air. What smell I have left interprets familiar smells differently, toward the displeasant. Thank goodness I can still smell cinnamon. I learned there is a true cinnamon and a relative species we most commonly use as cinnamon.
