I never had the privilege of meeting him or even seeing
him in person, but his music made me, and many others
very happy. He was a 12 stirng genius.
(and now i learn he made airplanes too!!)

I tried and tried to play 12 string like Fred
by listening to his album. The one that had
Go down old Hannah, pork and beans, going down slow,
this little light of mine,
dekalb blues, gallows pole, and I dont remember what else.
Wish I still had that album. My ex got it..:(
