Wow, look at this. Simon would be so humbled to see that people thought so well of him. Really he just loved to play music, create music and play it with his friends. Fortunately so many amazing musicians had become his friends and his awe grew to friendship. He was so lovely. Even when he was being annoyingly pedantic.
