Subject: RE: BBC London Folk Song Cellar
All this makes fascinating reading. As far as I can remember, back in the mid 60s, 'The Halliard' made two recordings for the BBC. One was for 'Cellar full of Folk', which I think was recorded in the old 'Paris Studio' in London, Piccadilly...producer, almost certainly, Frances Line (sp?). The other was a programme called 'Country Meets Folk', which was recorded at Broadcasting House. I seem to recall we shared the programme with John D. Loudermilk. The only song title I can remember from the sessions is: 'The Lancashire Lads' ('Country Meets Folk'). We've always been under the impression that these recordings, along with many others, we're wiped years ago. Could there be copies hiding in the veritable treasure trove being revealed in this thread? Only time will tell....and a LOT of luck!
                                           Kind Regards to All,
