At my local wattering hole, a French geezer said he'd had asteroids and had been told to eat lots of garlic.

This reminded me that years ago a very prim and proper acquaintance told of hearing that a cure for rhoids was sleeping with a clove of garlic inserted in the location. Sorry, I missed the part about the effectiveness of this treatment, I was laughing too hard at the visual this evoked.

If anyone would be kind enough to give it a try and let us know the results, I'd appreciate it.
