I forgot to mention - I had a sinking feeling this evening when I realized there had been another skunk discharge in the back yard. When it's that strong I can't tell if the dogs got it or not, but I isolated them one at a time in the garage and sniffed their muzzles. No skunk. I heard the barking, but didn't look. They are pretty good at torquing off skunks but not getting hit. I think this is the fourth time year that they've done that (it also means I don't have to dispose of a skunk carcass, though I did get rid of a dead possum during the week.)
