Nan Goland wanted to do "Telephone Songs," because she did C&W last year, so she called TJ and talked him into doing C&W. She must have contacted me by phone at just about the time you were posting to this thread. (I was virtuously typing up our fall craft show schedule at the time, not wasting time on the Mudcat....)
