Greetings from rainy/haily/blowy Northumberland (I have found a cafe with wi-fi!)

Today is my last clutter-free day...the van arrives tomorrow! It will definitely be an interesting exercise getting stuff stowed.
However, I got curious and took a tool to a boarded up fireplace in that little room off my bedroom...there's an original iron one hidden in there. However there is a sheet of asbestos screwed in front of it, so i am going to have to be careful and contact the council for safe disposal.

The village is fantastic. There is always something going on, and the people are really welcoming. There is a guy from the village parish council who has already said he will drag me into the drama group and put the two morris dancers who live in the village in touch with me!
