Where is this weird world where Lizzie lives? I see men showing affection to their friends, girlfriends and wives everywhere I go. And no one thinks twice about it. UKers too so it can't just be a US thing.
And though a few are outspoken about women as sex objects here on Mudcat, they are in the minority. I saw aboslutely nothing sexist or lewd in any of the comments above. Nor would I if they were made about Marilyn Monroe.

Connery made Harrison Ford look sexless in the Indiana Jones series. The eyes, the body, the attitude - it is all a package. He seems to enjoy being himself.

As with most men, I believe, these Hollywood types are a fantasy. I would no more want to spend an evening with Sean Connery than with Karl Rove. I prefer keeping the fantasy alive.

A friend of mine had a terrible crush on the ice skater with the famous haircut - can't think of her name. But she personified sweetness and talent and feminine charm in public. He had the misfortune to sit next to her on an airplane. She was the perfect bitch through the whole flight. Poor guy was really down about it. Careful what you wish for, you might get it.
