I had the pleasure of listening to Ric and his wife, Billie, at the First Unitarian Church in Portland, Oregon a few years back. They both shared some delightful and poignant poetry and songs, and I have one of Rick's books of poems to remember that.
I understood that Ric was stricken with MS (IIRC) not long after that, and I'm sure his last years were a struggle. I hope he's in a better place and making the angels laugh, sing, cry and dance.
