Well, only taken 3 days to get my ADSL link working - 2 nightmares...

1) I had an old Belkin modem (2nd hand!) single port and no wireless - after a few hours not getting anywhere I went and asked for a new modem and got a D-Link..... haha - but it was only a ROUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


2) after a second day of a couple of hour stuffing around with the tech on the phone, I found what the real problem is....

You need a 'úsername' to connect - and there was a typo in the email they sent me - they put an 'a' where there have been an 'e' .... so what I thought they had said was not what they thought I thought they had said .... the thick accent of the nice lady was the main problem, I think.... :-)

So now the Belkin is working fine.... :-)... as you can see....
