I was on a hydraulics course in TO about 5 years ago. I struck up a friendship with an Indian lad and we got a whack of grub for a group of us. He got the "mild" stuff for us Canucks from Down East. I could not eat any of it. Then again, I am a good old country boy whose tolerance for spices stops at onions and a pinch of summer savory in a partridge stew... can't get much more bland than that. Other than that, the wildest I get is salt and pepper. Or the odd pizza from Vito's... even then...
