I'll bear that feedback/criticism in mind but also the confusion within, such as this:

"recorder bore little musical relationship with what followed." (Stu)...but following the tune (as an intro.) on the recorder is the very same tune (doubling the melody, as an accompaniment) on the keyboards; so, unless they've been mass produced way out of tune, it's immpossible for that to be so.

And, S., last I heard (from yourself) you couldn't read or write music, but you now post as if you do...have you learn't to do so the last few months?

And, as I've said before, given my decision to accompany by doubling the melody (here), I shall, as you both suggest, keep working on intonation (and keep the tunes in my repertoire committed to memory) by playing a line/singing a line/playing a line, with both recorder and keys - rather than going through scales.
