that is why I use ftm..it does the searching and entering for you. It is really wonderful..at least version 16 is...very efficient. And I am doing a whole little town in Iowa..just quick and dirty for two or three generations so I can match them back up hopefully to Ireland...lots came from Dingle area together...mg
