On Saturday nights my wife makes her speciality for all of us.

It's called "Diluted Water Soup".
Three parts tap water,
One part diluted water,
A dash of salt and pepper,"to taste".
Pour "contents"into large saucepan,mix well and bring to the boil.
Leave to simmer for two hours,serve while hot.
She learned this from her mother during the Balkan wars.
