I was watching this interview yesterday about Harry Farr, a WW1 Soldier 'shot at dawn', basically because of shell shock as it became known..

...and from there I started looking into shell shock, which of course became, over the years, what we now call Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome...

Interesting how many people are never properly diagnosed, or helped, as they should be...simply being shovelled out tablets for depression whilst the reason *causing* that depression is being overlooked, time and again..

Desperately sad to think they could be getting treatment that actually helped them to deal with this often life-threatening problem.

Then I found Tom's song...and thought it might help a few folks and enlighten others to this condition which must be terrifying for those concerned. And as you say, it seems to be a condition that's been brushed aside and not given the serious attention it requires, for way too long.
