Different Harry Truman, of course. As I recall, he ran an inn on Spirit Lake on Mount St. Helens. Geologists, who were monitoring the mountain and felt sure she was gonna blow any minute, told him he'd better pack up and get out. But Harry said that he'd lived on the mountain all his life, man and boy, and it would never hurt him.

Well . . . comes 8:32 a.m. on Sunday morning, May 18th, 1980.

When the whole thing was pretty well over with, not only were they not able to find any trace of Harry Truman, they weren't too sure where Spirit Lake was anymore.

Both Harrys were crusty buggers and pretty darn stubborn.
