It's the combination of Canadian beer and Maple Syrup, eh? The Maple Syrup causes the beer to ferment and that causes the synapses to misfire, resulting in incoherency and eventual sleep during daylight hours...but it's okay, cos we just hand the country over to the beavers on the weekends and they mind the dams.
