The bill from the cable company came - it has gone up another $12 after going up $7 last summer. Geez, Louise, but I'm ready to dump these folks. AT&T is taking their sweet time getting set up in the neighborhood. They also delayed on letting go of the house phone number; assuming Sprint has all of the info now, it'll happen on Tuesday. Good riddance!

My computer is going to be delayed a week in shipping, but I don't want to cancel the order because the next-best, the one in the store, doesn't have the things I want for the price I'm getting them. I will have to be patient.

The heat is on more these days, so one thing I will do this weekend is block the lower end of the vent into the fire place. It's the door outside where ash is emptied, but it always lets heat in during summer and cold in in winter. Time to cut a chunk of styrofoam to block it.
