Little Hawk... you can 'explain' the point about metaphor & satire till you're blue in the face and tell me how it all 'relates' to various items in the news.....but after you have made sure I get it, I will explain that I GOT it, but just don't see it it as **funny**.

When I was 12, I heard other guys telling 'jokes' that were just excuses to use naughty words in weird contexts..(like the "Johnny Fuckerfaster" classics), but I could not see any HUMOR in inventing a totally unlikely scenario JUST to use those words.

Our debate is not about how well-written the parody is, but about the very foundations of humor...which seem to vary in different cultures and mindsets.
