Don't know if this will reactivate this old thread. Just happened on it in my search for OMBs. I just checked out A Frank Willis but he seems to use backing tracks/drum machine always. Can anyone confirm his playing everything live with no backing? Other new names for me here too - Lonesome Gillette, Chester The OMB and Reggie Miles (admits he's not total OMB).
