The things that I, personally, am thankful for, are, after considrable thought...

That the younger of my twins has found a happy and supportive (of me {!} and his brother) place in the family. I thank him and my efforts at rearing an odd child for that.

That Mom is still here, matriarching away. I thank her fortitude, perseverance and luck of the genetic draw for that. I am also aware that I'm lucky to have her genes...

That I get to be a professor again. I thank my MeetUp friends for that!
