As a kid I never realized how much work went into Thanksgiving; I grumbled that I had to help by cutting up all of the veggies for the stuffing. Now I'm so glad that Mom had us help that way, because I feel the continuity between the generations, as I have my children each do their tasks on Thanksgiving. My son won't be here this year, so hopefully Moonglow will be here early enough to make the rolls.

In light of day I can see a few more things to shift in the living room, but in general I like the new layout.

I've been out talking to the neighbors. I'll be picking up newspapers for folks headed out of town over the next couple of weeks.
