Lincolnshire winters are very cold - rumour has it that its the wind from the east (they used to say from the Urals - but the Russians got the blame for everything in those days!).

Perhaps the Bishop ought to bless the cavity wall insulators, and central heating engineers. I have no recollection of him ever blessing the coalmen - but I personally welcome a more pragmatic view of Christianity.
