Well the snow came last night, but there's only an inch or so...which has frozen.
Took some more cardboard boxes and packing paper to the tip yesterday afternoon, and bought a couple of new doormats while I was at it - there's a homewares store nearby. I also baked a couple of small fruit cakes for the church coffee morning on Saturday. I forgot that butter drips out of the cake pans, so ended up scrubbing the oven out late last night!

The joiner is (hopefully) coming this morning to remodel some shelves for me. I am beginning to think that I may actually have room for most of the books after all! I just need to sort some shelving out in the little cupboard in the room off my bedroom, which is my dressing table/computer/chill-out space....well it will be eventually!
